South Side Trust & Savings Bank has been providing banking and financial services to the local community since January 4, 1922. Neighborhood businessmen and stockyard members recognized the need to bring banking closer to the South Side of Peoria, and with 203 local investors, South Side Bank was born. Today, South Side Bank remains one of the very few independent locally owned and operated financial institutions in the Tri-County area. We now serve the Peoria, Chillicothe, Bartonville, East Peoria, West Peoria, and Washington communities.
