History

Citizens National Bank first opened its doors in 1902 and through the years has remained an integral part of the local community. As one of the larger commercial banks in its market area, Citizens National Bank enjoys a sound financial position and solid reputation as a leader in local business and community affairs.

Traditionally, CNB serves the banking needs of the whole community, defined as Edgar County ,Coles County in Illinois, and Vigo County in Indiana. The bank's lending function includes all types of commercial, mortgage and consumer loans. The credit needs of the community are served by making loans available for business, agriculture, residential, personal, auto, home improvement, and educational purposes to our market area customers.
