Bank & Trust Company is not a banking giant by today's standards. Rather, we are a unique community bank based in Litchfield, IL, with seven branches serving primarily rural markets in several counties in south central Illinois including Montgomery, Macoupin, Christian, and Sangamon.

We offer most of the services offered by regional banks, but are still small enough that customers are known by name, not by a number. We offer extensive trust and wealth management services to clients, which is uncommon for most community banks. The bank has been around since 1902 and the philosophy of the management has remained the same - to deliver products and services which meet the needs and wants of customers on a timely, competitive priced basis.
